School Counselors, School Clinicians, & Educators

School-based student mental health support, assessment, and vetted referrals

Welcome school counselors, school clinicians, administrators, and educators. You don’t have to navigate student mental health concerns alone.

The Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium partners with schools across Texas by connecting students to direct mental and behavioral health services, delivered via telehealth, along with expert support and training/education, referrals, and resources—at no cost to schools or students.

Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) – free telehealth services for individual students, delivered in coordination with schools.

Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) – a 5-session evidence-based mental health education program to build students’ skills.

The Consortium is anchored by 12 Texas health-related institutions of higher education across the state. Learn more about our Mission, Vision, and the need for our work.
