Why CPAN

  • CPAN is expanding mental health care access for patients up to age 22 through the pediatric or family clinicians they already see and trust; it reduces the need to transfer care.

  • We help clinicians help their patients in real time. Families often wait months to see a psychiatrist or specialist when they need assessment or treatment immediately.

  • CPAN is state funded, so there is no cost to clinicians or families, and no insurance is needed.

Note for Designated Rural Hospital Clinicians:

Clinicians working in designated rural hospitals may access CPAN and PeriPAN for clinician-to-clinician consultation, treatment guidance, referrals, resources, and CME training. One-time direct patient-psychiatrist consultations are not available as a rural hospital service, but may be recommended to clinicians accessing CPAN/PeriPAN through their own practice or clinic.
