Support for families looking for mental health help in Texas
If you are looking for mental health support for yourself, your child, your teen, or someone in your family, you are not alone.
The Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium is working to make the mental health care system stronger for you. We work with the professionals you already see—doctors, schools, and clinicians in training—to expand and strengthen mental and behavioral health care.
Need Mental Health Support?
Contact your pediatrician, school counselor, family doctor, psychiatrist, or OB/GYN to see if they already work with our programs:
For questions about our programs, email: tcmhcc@utsystem.edu.
Find Local Mental Health Services
Your Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) or Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) can help connect children, teens, and adults to counseling and mental health services, and help you find support in your community.
-
Texas Health and Human Services provides a searchable directory to help you find the LMHA or LBHA that serves your county or zip code.
